About Ha Long Bay
Ha Long Bay is in northeastern Vietnam, from E106°56' to E107°37' and from N20°43' to N21°09'. The bay stretches from Yên Hưng district, past Hạ Long city, Cẩm Phả town to Vân Đồndistrict, bordered on the south and southeast by the Gulf of Tonkin, on the north by China and on the west and southwest by Cát Bà island. The bay has a 120 kilometre long coastline and is approximately 1,553 square kilometres in size with 1969 islets. The area designated by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage Site includes 434 km² with 775 islets, of which the core zone is delimited by 69 points: Đầu Gỗ island on the west, Ba Hầm lake on the south and Cống Tây island on the east. The protected area is from the Cái Dăm petrol store to Quang Hanh commune, Cẩm Phả town and the surrounding giants zone.

Depart from hotel in a Van,journey to the jetty was around 3hrs - 3.5hrs. Stop by half way for pee pee and poop poop at the rest area.Toilet was horrible,total chaos!yucks.

Reached at the jetty and meet up with our tour guide.After getting our ticket for the boat.Boarding time.Imperial Junk!..Check in and place our stuff in the room. Room was good compare to our existing hotel.

Our Junk start to cruise,while we are having our luncheon on board. Top deck was fun,complete view. I was resting on the reclining chair and i fell asleep.

We reached some floating village. Village that i only can see 3 people.We bought some shrimp from them and pass it to the Junk cook.

Arrived at the kayaking site. Kayaking,make sure you choose a right partner or you'll be doing it all by yourself.My arms!!!

Head back to the Junk. Rest and bath ,prepare for dinner at 1900.

Dinner time. The cook screw up our shrimp!!!After dinner didnt do much,the Junk was shaking,taking picture also a hassle. Blur.

Again sleeping on the top deck and seaching for shooting star. None to be found.Others was preparing to partyy. Then my flu start to get worse,went back to my cabin.Zzzz.Others was playing cards next room and was screamin' so loud i think they wake the whole Ha Long bay.

yup.
nice place to relax.but in winter won't see much scenery because of the fog.
